  • TAXPRO MAX FOR FILING ANNUAL RETURNS

    Good morning All,

Please, I need clarification on how to go about filing for clients whose tax liabilities were paid but yet to submit to FIRS office. The FIRS does not collect the returns manually again and using TaxPro Max will definitely request for DIN and payment before successful submission can be achieved on it. Kindly advise.

    Good afternoon all,

Payment of taxes through other channels was stopped when the FIRS stopped collecting hard copy returns. But since your client has already paid through other channels, it means you have right to submit the hard copy. It should also be noted that filing through Taxpromax must be accompanied with tax payments, otherwise the taxpayer will remained indebted to that tax liability.

But I think the best way to deal with this situation is to meet the tax controller and explain to him/her.

I’m sure he/she can give you a way out.

    Thank you.
